B-tech 2012

Its the third week now since my B-tech classes resumed. I thought it was going to be the same as the three years that I had done, but it is totally different. In the past three years we were spoon fed information and we were treated like children who cannot take care of themselves.

This year we are treated like adults and we have to do things on our own, we have to think outside the box. We are being prepared for the real world that we are going to enter once we finish our degree. In the past I did not take my work seriously and I always did my work on the last minute, but I like working that way because I would put all my pressure on my work and pass at the end of the year. This year there's no time for being lazy and all the work has to be prepared long before the due date, I am really pushing myself to work hard and to change the way that I used to operate.

I did not want to do my fourth year but my mother pressurized me into doing it, so I have to work hard for her. I want her to be proud of me as I am going to be the first child in the house who has graduated and who will have a degree to her name.

If I were the boss?

Being a boss is not an easy job and being a boss gives the privilege and the responsibility of managing others. Also being a good boss is not easy because sometimes employees expect the boss to be lenient to them and not give them written warnings when they have made a mistake that could have a negative impact on the company.

This topic made me think of my mom because she is not happy at her job, because her boss is a bad boss and lacks good leadership skills. She would say "she behaves like she was given the title and has not studied for it." Her attitude towards her boss made me to wanna become a good boss, the one that everyone has a positive thing to say about. I were to be a boss someday, I would really work on having good leadership qualities, the boss that gives clear instructions and would be firm on my decisions.

I would have a positive attitude, so that I develop positive qualities and confidence in my employees and would definitely motivate them to achieve their goals and those of the company. Being a boss I would display a fair degree of human qualities and be a boss that values time, and should be able to offer help to employees when they need it.

WHAT IS LOVE ?

It is one of the most difficult questions for the mankind. Centuries have passed by, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of love. To some Love is friendship set on fire for others Maybe love is like luck. You have to go all the way to find it. No matter how you define it or feel it, love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind. Love is patient, love is kind. It has no envy, nor it boasts itself and it is never proud. It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. Love protects; preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life. Always stand steadfast in love, not fall into it. It is like the dream of your matter of affection coming true. Love can occur between two or more individuals. It bonds them and connects them in a unified link of trust, intimacy and interdependence. It enhances the relationship and comforts the soul.
Love should be experienced and not just felt. The depth of love can not be measured. Look at the relationship between a mother and a child. The mother loves the child unconditionally and it can not be measured at all. A different dimension can be attained between any relationships with the magic of love.

To me love can be created. A person just needs to focus on the goodness of the other person. If this can be done easily, then you can also love easily, remember we all have some positive aspect in us, no matter how bad our deeds maybe,and as God said Love all. Depending on context, love can be of different varieties. Romantic love is a deep, intense and unending. It is shared on a very intimate, interpersonal and sexual relationships. The term Platonic love, familial love and religious love are also matter of great affection. It is more of desire, preference and feelings. The meaning of love will change with each different relationship and depends more on its concept of depth, versatility, and complexity. But at times the very existence of love is questioned. Some say it is false and meaningless. It says that it never exist, because there has been many instances of hatred and brutality in relationships.

Two people come out of a building and into a story.

My cousin and his friend left home to go and join their other friends. As soon as they walked out the gate, two men came up to them and started asking questions about a robbery that had happened earlier in the day. The two guys said to my cousin and his friend that they were also involved in the armed robbery, and that some girl saw them just before they ran away.

They denied the allegations but the two guys would not listen to reason and they were adamant that the girl was telling the truth, and my cousin's friend is a gangster so its obviously them. The community took matters into their own hands by beating them with sjamboks and some people with bricks, they wanted the boys to tell the truth and the only way to get it is to beat the living daylights of them.

The police were called by one of the neighbours and only then they were released into the police's hands. They were held for custody for until the police could get to the bottom of things and when the community has calmed down. Luckily for my cousin and his friend the woman who was robbed was at the police station to make her statement, she informed the police that they have arrested the wrong guys and were later released.

The essence of this story is to show that a story can happen anytime and it could be stay with you for the rest of your life....................

DEVIL the TESTER!!!!!!!

The devil likes to test me especially when it comes to my school work, because every time I have to do my assignments or study for tests I just feel like sleeping, but the moment I

put my books down all of a sudden i feel fresh. Maybe it is not the devil who is testing me, it's just my conscious playing games with me.

But I believe that he exists and he really tempts people into doing things that will have a negative impact in their lives. This monster has even visited me in church telling me that church is boring and I should stop attending and stay at home. I fell into his trap and started skipping Sunday services eventually I stopped going, and gave lame excuse why I don't go anymore.

It has been a year now since I have stopped going to church and this year I have realised that without God I am nothing and my life will always have negativity. I will not progress or develop in a sensible manner. I have decided to join God because his love is eternal and real, and realised that the Devil only wants to destroy me and he only cares about himself.This month I joined a Zion church in Nyanga and for the few weeks that I have attended I can feel that I have grown spiritually and that prayer is a healer.

GOD IS LOVE AND HE NEVER FORSAKES HIS CHILDREN IN ANY GIVEN SITUATION.......

how hard is it to follow instructions?

sometimes it's not that hard to follow instructions especially if it is simple instructions. We learn from following instructions and they give us directions as to what to do and how to do it, some people feel like instructions are forcing them to do something that they do not want to do.

I for one do not like simple instructions that tell us how to flush the toilet or do not eat the book, that for me is just stupid becuase why would someone eat a book.

However there are hard instructions to follow, an example would be baking recipes most people find it hard to follow baking directions, and some excuses are they don't give proper measurements or its just not simple for me to understand.To follow instructions one needs to listen attentively and read with understanding, so that you cann know what is excpeted of you.

Instructions are made to guide us to doing things properly and why are things done in a certain manner, the right or wrong way of doing things in life.
