My favourite Cat in the hat book is
how the Grinch stole Christmas because the book questions the commercialization
of Christmas. It subtly exposes greed and promotes the values of love and
community with smartness, humour, and flawlessly constructed rhymes.
When I was young I loved Christmas and
the book tells the young and old that the spirit of Christmas is true even if
there are no presents and decorations. Christmas spirits should never changed
despite the challenges that occur before Christmas.
